Anuradha Chaudhuri takes lead after the first round of the IGU West Bengal Ladies and Junior Girls Golf Championship 2025, which is being held at the Royal Calcutta Golf club, Kolkata, from May 14 to May 16.

Maharashtra golfer Anuradha Chaudhuri shot a 1-under 71 in the first round to take lead in the Combined Ladies & A&B Girls category, as well as the Combined A&B Girls category.

Shooting a level par score of 72, Odisha’s Kashika Mishra lay second in the Combined Ladies & A&B Girls category, as well as the Combined A&B Girls category.

A team of seven golfers including Haryana’s Lavanya Gupta, Delhi’s Keya Badugu, Punjab’s Rabab Kahlon, Chandigarh’s Guntas Kaur Sandhu and Amreen Sandhu, Karnataka’s Priya Kumari and Maharashtra’s Aradhana Manikanandan lay tied third in Combined Ladies & A&B Girls category at a score of 75.

Haryana’s Lavanya Gupta, Punjab’s Rabab Kahlon, Chandigarh’s Guntas Kaur Sandhu and Amreen Sandhu, Karnataka’s Priya Kumari and Maharashtra’s Aradhana Manikanandan also lay tied third in Combined A&B Girls category at a score of 75.

With a score of 76, West Bengal’s Anaahat Bindra lay tied tenth and ninth the in Combined Ladies & A&B Girls as well as A&B Girls category respectively with Haryana’s Riya Jadon.

Meanwhile Punjab’s Rabab Kahlon and Chandigarh’s Guntas Kaur Sandhu jointly took lead in category B Girls at a score of 75, followed by Rajasthan’s Shiksha Jain and Goa’s Rashi, who lay third and fourth in B Girls at scores of 76 and 77.

Rajasthan’s Ojaswini Saraswat took lead in C Girls at score of 74, followed by Madhya Pradesh’s Teesta Singh SIkarwar and Delhi’s Dalisha Chetry, who lay tied second at a score of 76.

Maharashtra’s Vanyaa Singh lay fourth in C girls at a score of 86.

West Bengal’s Julinka Rou Chowdhury lay tied fifth in C Girls at score of 88 with Karnataka’s Kiara Yadav.
