Haryana’s Lt. Col. Varoon Parmar hit an even par score of 72 in the first round after playing eighteen holes.
Uttar Pradesh’s Simarjeet Singh, Chandigarh’s H.S Kang, and Maharashtra’s Raj Randhawa chased Lt. Col. Parmar and lay jointly second at 1-over 73.
Telangana’s Abhishek Mitra, West Bengal’s Ranjit Singh and Haryana’s Rahul Agarwal jointly lay fifth at a score of 74 after playing 18 holes.
Other notable performances from West Bengal golfers include Avinash Deoskar, who tied eighth at a score of 76 with Uttar Pradesh’s Ashish Kapoor, Haryana’s Lakhan Singh, Chandigarh’s Maninder Pal Singh, and Delhi’s Anirudh Goyal.
