Goa’s Rashi Mishra carded 1-under 71 to take the lead after Round 1 of the IGU Chandigarh Ladies & Junior Girls Golf Championship 2025, being held at Chandigarh Golf Club from August 6 to 8.
Mishra leads both the Ladies & A&B Girls Combined and A&B Girls Combined categories after her opening round.
Trailing by two strokes at 73 in the Ladies & A&B Girls Combined category are Haryana’s Ceerat Kang and Riya Jadon, along with Chandigarh’s Guntas Kaur Sandhu. Sandhu also lies tied second in the A&B Girls Combined category with Jadon.
Karnataka’s Saanvi Somu and Chandigarh’s Amreen Sandhu are tied fifth in both Ladies & A&B Girls Combined and A&B Girls Combined with scores of 74. Haryana’s Jiah Kang and West Bengal’s Shinjini Mukherjee also lie tied seventh at 75.
Gujarat’s Ananya Saini, Karnataka’s Priya Kumari, and Haryana’s Alysha Dutt are among six players tied ninth in Ladies & A&B Girls Combined at 76, joined by Delhi’s Keya Badugu, Chandigarh’s Mehak Lohan, and Haryana’s Anvi Dahiya. The same group is also tied sixth in the A&B Girls Combined leaderboard.
In the C Girls category, Madhya Pradesh’s Teesta Singh Sikarwar and Rajasthan’s Ojaswini Saraswat are tied at the top with identical scores of 77. Uttarakhand’s Aanya Dandriyal is third at 82, while Bhuvi Srivastava of UP lies fourth at 88.
Karnataka’s Isha A R and Chandigarh’s Gairat Kaur Kahlon are placed fifth and sixth respectively at 89 and 90, while Sancia Sendil of Karnataka stands seventh at 95.
