Sukhman Singh maintains lead for three consecutive rounds in the IGU Rajasthan State Amateur Golf Championship, that is being held at the Rambagh Golf Club, from August 12 to August 15.
Uttar Pradesh’s Sukhman had a difficult third round, in which he shot a 3-under 67, after a 4-under 66, and 6-under 64 in the first and second rounds respectively. With a three day score of 13-under 197, Sukhman made his move on the moving day.
Delhi’s Rakshit Dahiya played a better third round, in which he shot a 2-under 68, after 1-under 69 in the two consecutive rounds. At a three-day score of 4-under 206, Dahiya lay second.
In close pursuit of Dahiya, lay Punjab’s Danish Verma, who shot a 2-under 68 in the third round, after shooting an even par score of 70 in the first round and a 1-under 69 in the second round. At a three-day score of 3-under 207, Danish lay third.
Bengal golfer Anshul Mishra (71-68-69) lay tied fourth with a group of golfers including Rajasthan’s Ahsaas Khanijau (70-70-68), and Haryana’s Rohan Singh Rana (69-71-68), at a three-day score of 2-under 208.
