The Protouch Golf Academy held a Chipping in the Basket competition on September 7, 2025, as part of its 1091 Protouch Junior Skills Competition Series. Young golfers competed in two categories—Beginner, Intermediate—based on their skill level, showcasing their skills and determination.

Kiaan Chakraborty: Winner, Beginners’ Category.

Playing two rounds, Kiaan Chakraborty, maintaining his winning streak for the previous four Sundays, won the Beginners’ category .

Initially, Advika Agarwal, Shaurya Agarwal, Saanvi Agarwal and Rishi Varshney tied for the second place, which called for three exciting rounds of play-off.

Advika Agarwal: Runner Up, Beginners’ Category.

Finally, Advika Agarwal finished second in the Beginners’ category.

Shaurya and Saanvi Agarwal: Second Runner Up, Beginners’ Category.

Saanvi and Shaurya Agarwal jointly finished third.

Ujaan Chakraborty: Winner, Intermediate Category.

In the Intermediate category, Ujaan Chakraborty, Jayansh Lakhotia and Aativeer Jain all ended their rounds in a tie. After three rounds of playoffs, Ujaan Chakraborty won the Intermediate category.

While Aativeer Jain finished second in the Intermediate category, Jayansh Lakhotia finished third.

After the competition, Saanvi Agarwal said, “The games are benefitting me, because I see other people play and, personally, my chipping isn’t very good, so seeing them also helps me a lot and gain experience. I haven’t been playing golf for a very long time, so these skills competitions help me out a lot”.

All the children went home with smiling faces, flaunting their medals, looking forward to participate in the 1092 Putting competition, which is scheduled to be held at the Protouch Golf Academy, next Sunday, on September 14.
