Chairman and Managing Director, Keventer group, Mayank Jalan said, “As a proud sponsor and passionate supporter of the sport, we are thrilled to be part of the Mahitosh Ray Memorial Junior Open 2025. These tournaments are a testament to the rising talent and unwavering spirit of golf in Bengal. We look forward to witnessing the next generation of champions showcase their skills and sportsmanship on the course!”

This is the second edition of this competition. Mr. Mayukh Ray, son of the Late Mr. Mahitosh Ray, said, ” My beloved father, Mr. Mahitosh Ray, was a very avid golfer himself. He used to look forward to his 18 holes every weekend, and he used to have a special hole called the 19th hole, which was just refreshments where he’d hang around with his friends. He was always very encouraging of junior and amateur golf, and I think this sport has a long way to go, even today, with all the sponsors coming in, it is not as popular as cricket. He wanted the sport to really grow, and I’m happy that Protouch has enabled us to have an opportunity to do something in his memory.”

The IGU East Zone Junior Feeder Tour continues to foster and showcase the promising future stars of Indian golf. The tour’s education partner is the Champ for Life Academy. Bisleri has come in as the water partner for this season. Keventer, Eastern India’s largest FMCG company, is the tour sponsor and is providing the players with juices and milkshakes. Additionally, Breathe.golf, and Indian Golf News (IGN) are the media partners for the tour. The tour is managed by Protouch Sports.
