Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, September 08, 2026;: The AM Green Indian Golf Premier League (IGPL) begins its journey in the second half of the season at the stunning Al Hamra Golf Club in Ras Al Khaimah. This will be the first event of the second half, following the series of events held earlier in 2026, when the AM Green IGPL travelled to Mauritius, South Africa and Morocco after the season-opener in Chandigarh.

The Emirates, which has seen a growing community of players, partners, sponsors and golf enthusiasts in recent years, will now play host to the AM Green IGPL presented by Vimtra Chennai Lions GC.

The IGPL’s first-ever event in the UAE in Dubai last December was a roaring success, following which the Tour is excited to announce the Al Hamra Golf Club as the venue for its first franchisee event of 2026. The event is scheduled from September 23-25, 2026 with all top players in attendance.

For Vimtra, the Al Hamra Golf Club in Ras Al Khaimah, one of the best-known courses in the UAE, will be the ‘home territory’ for the week.

Vimtra recently unveiled its logo and presented its players to golf enthusiasts and followers at a star-studded function in Chennai. The team boasts of a very strong line-up in the IGPL League.

The players are led by 11-time Asian Tour winner Gaganjeet Bhullar, also a former Asian Games medallist and his teammates are Samarth Dwivedi, Yashas Chandra and Harshjeet Sethi. Bhullar is also a four-time winner on the IGPL – he has won three times in 2025 and once in 2026.

Al Hamra in Ras Al Khaimah in recent years has hosted high-profile international events including the DP World’s Ras Al Khaimah Championships between 2022 and 2025. The course has also hosted the European Challenge Tour events three times between 2016 and 2018.
