The first round of the Protouch Amateur Open, the first leg of the IGU Eastern India Feeder Tour 2026, teed off at the prestigious Tollygunge Club.

Aranyak Chakraborty leads the Amateur Category with a score of 77. One shot behind at second, Abdul Hossain Sardar with a score of 7, and Lakshya Rampuria at third with a score of 80.

In the Mid Amateur Category, Raja Babu Ali led with a score of 81. Praveen Agarwal at second with a score of 93 and Jayanta Banerjee at third with a score of 96.

In the Ladies Category, Shahmiran Malak and Anwesha Das are tied at the top with a score of 89.

In the Senior Category, Col. Shreekant Tiwari leads with a score of 77. Captain Rana Chatterji finished the day in second with a score of 82, also leading the Super Senior Category. Abhijit Kolay takes the third spot with a score of 86.

In the Super Senior Category, Dr Ashish Kumar finishes the round in second with a score of 92, and Subrata Kundu finishes the day in third with a score of 96.
