Arkaprovo Choudhury leads the Bengal Junior Open 2026 – Leg 3 of the IGU East Zone Junior Feeder Tour, after the first round, which is being held at the Suryodaya Environmental Park and Training Area (SEPTA), Kolkata, from May 2 to May 3.

Shooting a 76, Arkaprovo leads category A&B Boys and B Boys.

Adityajit Gupta, Arghya Shah, and Hrian Khem jointly lay tied second in A&B Boys at a score of 80.

Adityajit and Hrian also lay tied second in category B Boys.

Andrew Baid lay fifth in A&B Boys at a score of 81.

Krishiv Rungta lay fourth in B Boys at a score of 85.

Shooting a 78, Samaira Chitlangia leads A&B Girls, followed by Naina Dinodiya, who lay second in the category at a score of 90.

Ayaan Mimani leads category C Boys at a score of 85, followed by Aarav Singh and Shaurish Sen, who lay second and third in C Boys at a score of 91 and 96 respectively.

While the participants of A&B Boys, B Boys, A&B Girls, and C Boys will play a total of 36 holes over two consecutive rounds, the participants of C Girls, D Boys & Girls, and E Boys & Girls will play a toyal of 18 holes over two days.

Playing 9 holes, Vaanyaa Rustagi leads C Girls at a score of 43, followed by Myra Kaur Chandok and Medhavi Ashwini Kaul, who lay second and third at scores of 47 and 48 respectively.

Jayansh Lakhotia shot a 44, leading D Boys after 9 holes, followed by Viraj Agarwal and Aativeer Jain, who shot a 48 and 51 and lay second and third in D Boys respectively.

Duaa Singh shot a 54, and leads category D Girls, followed by Ojaswini Sarkar, who lay second in D Girls at a score of 55.

Advika Agarwal and Noa Munshi lay tied third in category D Girls at a score of 60.

Rihaan Fogla shot a 40 in the first round, and leads category E Boys after 9 holes, followed by Lavit Dhanuka and Reshab Roy, who shot a 42 and 44 and lay second and third in E Boys respectively.

In E Girls, Ruhi Nayar shot a 38, the best score in the 9 hole categories, and leads category E Girls.

The golfers will compete in three official rounds that count towards the World Junior Golf Raking (WAGR).
