The AVT Champions Tour, India’s premier competitive platform for senior amateur golfers, is returning to the prestigious Bombay Presidency Golf Club (BPGC) for the second event of the 2025-26 season. This season began with the AVT Champions Tour at KGA in June. The upcoming event will take place from November 11 to 12, 2025, and has already attracted over 105 confirmed players. It promises two days filled with spirited competition, camaraderie, and a celebration of golfing excellence.
This season marks the 100th anniversary of the A.V. Thomas group, which was established in 1925, making this season particularly special for The AVT Champions Tour. The AVT Champions Tour continues its legacy of honouring champions aged 50 and above. The BPGC leg will be played over 36 holes in an individual stroke play format across two tournament rounds.
The rounds will have Individual Gross categories divided by age group:
a. 50-54 years
b. 55-59 years
c. 60-64 years
d. 65-69 years
e. 70+ years
f. Ladies category.
The Individual NETT categories will be split according to the handicap indexes.
