Bud Cauley (-17) claimed victory at the RBC Canadian Open with a composed final-round 67, closing at -5 for the day. His steady play and clutch putting at TPC Toronto gave him a two-shot margin over the field, securing one of the biggest wins of his career.

Matt Fitzpatrick (-15) finished runner-up after a brilliant -6, mounting a late charge but unable to reel in Cauley. Viktor Hovland (-14) followed closely in third, his -5 keeping him in contention throughout the weekend.

A crowded group at -13—Brice Garnett, Jacob Stanger, John Suber, and Jesper Svensson—shared fourth place, each delivering consistent performances but falling just short of the leaders.

At -12, Sahith Yellamaraju, Ryan Fox, and Aldrich Potgieter rounded out the top ten, with Potgieter’s -5 standing out as one of the strongest closing rounds of the day.

Cauley’s triumph was defined by composure under pressure and precision on the greens, turning a tightly packed leaderboard into a decisive win. With Fitzpatrick and Hovland pressing close, the final round delivered drama, but Cauley’s steadiness ensured his name was etched onto the Canadian Open trophy.
