Danish Verma wins the IGU Jharkhand State Junior Boys Golf Championship 2025, while Bengal lad Arkaprovo Chaudhury won his category, which was being held at the Golmuri Golf Club, from November 11 to November 14.
Punjab’s Danish Verma (63-72-68-67) played great game over the four rounds of the IGU Jharkhand State Junior Boys Golf Championship 2025. Though he trailed along and shot a level par score of 72 in the second round, after a marvellous 9-under 63 in the first round, he pulled back his game to score a 4-under 68 and 5-under 67 in the third and the fourth rounds respectively. At an overall score of 18-under 270, Danish won the A&B Boys as well as B Boys category.
Chandigarh golfer Harjai Milkha Singh (70-69-66-73) had a tough fourth round, in which he shot a 1-over 73 and at a total score of 10-under 278, finished second in A&B Boys, followed by Karnataka golfer Sidhant Nathan (74-69-70-67), who scored his personal best of a 5-under 67 in the fourth round, and at an overall score of 6-under 282, finished third in the A&B Boys.
Following Danish, Delhi’s Sakshity Purendre (73-68-66-76) finished second in B Boys at an overall score of 3-under 283, while Telangana’s Saatvic Kumar Singh (74-72-74-76) finished third at an overall score of 296.

Arkoprovo Chaudhury: Winner, C Boys.
Meanwhile, the players of the C Boys category played three rounds. West Bengal golfer Arkaprovo Chaudhury (76-71-75) had a difficult third round, after a 1-under 71 in the second round, and at an overall score of 222, won category C Boys, followed by Haryana’s Sidhant Sharma (74-80-72), and Delhi’s Krishnav Gupta (74-77-76), who finished second and third in category C Boys at overall scores of 226 and 227 respectively.
