Indian women’s golf enjoyed a memorable week in the Netherlands as Diksha Dagar, Avani Prashanth, and Pranavi Urs all finished inside the top five at the 2026 Dutch Ladies Open on the Ladies European Tour.
Diksha Dagar and Avani Prashanth shared third place at eight-under-par, finishing just one shot behind the tournament winner. Avani came especially close to forcing a playoff after a brilliant final-round charge before settling for a career-boosting top-three finish.
Meanwhile, Pranavi Urs continued India’s strong showing by securing a tie for fifth alongside Annika Borelli, Justice Bosio, Kirsten Rudgeley, Hannah Screen, Georgia Iziemgbe Oboh and Harang Lee at seven-under-par, marking a remarkable week for Indian golf.
The result highlights the growing depth of Indian women’s golf, with three players contending at the sharp end of the event. As the Ladies European Tour season progresses, performances like these reinforce India’s rising presence on the international stage and provide plenty of optimism for the upcoming 20th Asian Games in Japan
