Guntas Kaur Sandhu takes lead after the second round of the IGU West Bengal Ladies and Junior Girls Golf Championship 2026, which is being held at the prestigious Tollygunge Club, Kolkata, from April 14 to April 16.

Chandigarh golfer Guntas Kaur Sandhu (71-74) had a difficult second round in which she shot a 74. At a two-day score of 145, Sandhu takes halfway lead in Ladies & A&B Girls Combined category as well as A&B Girls Combined category.

A group of golfers including Haryana golfers Smira Bhambri (71-73) and Ceerat Kang (70-76), and overnight leader, Rajasthan golfer Shiksha Jain (69-77) closely pursued Sandhu, laying tied second in Ladies & A&B Girls Combined category with a two-day score of 146.

Gujarat’s Janneya A. Dassanniee (72-75) lay fifth in Ladies & A&B Girls Combined category with a two-day score of 147.

Smira and Shiksha also tops category B Girls and lay tied second in A&B Girls Combined category with two-day score of 146.

Haryana golfer Alysha Dutt (75-74) lay fourth in A&B Girls Combined category with a two-day score of 149.

Maharashtra golfer Jia Kardbhajne (78-73) lay third in category B Girls at a two-day score of 151.

Overnight leader in C Girls, Karnataka golfer Aashna Amogha (86-79) maintains lead in her category at a two-day score of 165, playing a better second round.

Haryana golfer Aaliyah Kalra (87-80) and Delhi’s Amaira Gulati (89-84) played better second rounds and currently lay second and third in category C Girls with two-day scores of 167 and 173 respectively.
