Facing a four-point deficit at the start of Saturday, the Americans showed signs of a comeback during the morning four-ball matches, outscoring the Internationals 2.5-1.5. The pairing of Scottie Scheffler and Sam Burns earned a valuable point, while Cameron Young and Chris Gotterup continued their impressive week with a victory over Corey Conners and Nick Taylor. Justin Thomas and Jackson Koivun salvaged a half-point after sharing honours with Min Woo Lee and Sungjae Im.

However, the International side once again demonstrated its resilience under pressure. Tom Kim and Si Woo Kim rallied from behind to defeat Collin Morikawa and Wyndham Clark, ensuring the visitors remained comfortably ahead entering the afternoon session.

The United States responded well in foursomes, splitting the four matches 2-2. Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele gained revenge for their Friday loss by defeating Tom Kim and Si Woo Kim, while the powerful duo of Cameron Young and Chris Gotterup produced the day’s most convincing result with a 6&4 victory.

Yet the Internationals delivered when it mattered most. Corey Conners and Nick Taylor fought back from an early deficit to edge Russell Henley and Jacob Bridgeman, while Ryan Fox and Min Woo Lee secured another crucial point with a 3&2 win over Sam Burns and Wyndham Clark.

As a result, the International Team enters Sunday’s singles with a 10.5-7.5 advantage, marking the first time in Presidents Cup history that it has carried a lead into the final day on foreign soil. With 12 points still available, the United States faces a significant challenge, while the Internationals stand on the brink of their first Presidents Cup victory since 1998.
