Jaibir Singh Kang and Shashank Sachin Gadre lead after the first round of the IGU Haryana State Junior Boys Golf Championship 2026, which is being held at the Panchkula Golf Course, from April 21 to April 24.
Haryana’s Jaibir Singh Kang and Delhi’s Shashank Sachin Gadre shot an even par score of 72 in the first round to take lead in the A&B Boys Combined category.
Jaibir also leads Category B Boys with an even par score of 72.
Haryana’s Aryan Pal shot a 1-over 73 and lay third in A&B Boys Combined category, followed by a group of golfers including Delhi’s Aditya Misra, Haryana’s Shaurya Dagar, West Bengal’s Varish Mohta and Chandigarh’s Harjai Milkha Singh, who lay tied fourth at a score of 74.
Meanwhile, Aditya also lay second in B Boys followed by Bengal golfer Aranyak Chakraborty, who lay third in B Boys at a score of 75.
Aranyak also currently lay tied eighth in A&B Boys Combined category with a group of golfers including Haryana golfers Zoravar Singh Toor and Arjun Dahiya, Maharashtra golfer Mitansh Thacker and Arunachal Pradesh golfer Deeyon.
Uttar Pradesh golfer Kabir Goyal shot a 2-over 74 and currently leads Category C Boys, followed by Delhi’s Shan Alvi and Haryana’s Drona Singh Dhull, who shot 75 and currently lay tied second in C Boys.
Haryana’s Kabir Sachdev shot a 78, and currently lay tied fourth in C Boys.
