Jamshedpur, August 13, 2026: Krishna Lohar made a level-par start at Golmuri Golf Course, carding a 72 to lead after the opening round of the Jharkhand Amateur Masters 2026, part of the IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour 2026. Jashan Bhaarat Shah and Biswakrit Ghosh both carded 73, one over par, and are just one shot behind the leader.

The opening round has kept the amateur category closely placed at the top, with Lohar holding a narrow advantage going into the next round. In the Ladies category, Chittranjan’s Ananya Roy leads after Round 1. Capt. R. Ranjan is at the top of the Senior category, while Rajamundry’s BV Sri Hari Rao leads the Super Senior section.

The championship continues at Golmuri Golf Course, with players looking to move up the leaderboard in the next round. The tour’s education partner is The Champ for Life Academy.
