Krish Chawla triumphs on the final day of the IGU Haryana State Junior Boys Golf Championship 2026, which was being held at the Panchkula Golf Course, from April 21 to April 24.
Chandigarh golfer Krish Chawla (77-69-72-72) had a difficult start in which he shot a 77. Improving his game on the second round with a 3-under 69, he shot an even par score of 72 in the penultimate and ultimate rounds, and at an overall score of 2-over 290, won the A&B Boys Combined category.

Arjun Dahiya: Runner Up, A&B Boys Combined category
Overnight leader in A&B Boys, Haryana’s Arjun Dahiya (75-70-71 -75) had a difficult start, but quickly improved his game in the second and third rounds, shooting 2-under 7 and 1-under 71 respectively. Though he had a difficult fourth round in which he shot a 75, Dahiya finished second in his category at an overall score of 291.


Ishnidh Virdhi: Second Runner Up, A&B Boys Combined category
Karnataka’s Ishnidh Virdhi (78-70-75-69) made a difficult start but improved his game in the second round with a 2-under 70. Though he played a difficult third round in which he shot a 75, he saved the best for the final round, shooting a 3-under 69, and at an overall score of 292, he finished tied third jointly with Haryana golfer Zoravar Singh Toor (75-73-71-73).

Jaibir Singh Kang: Winner, B Boys.
Overnight leader four consecutive rounds in B Boys, Haryana golfer Jaibir Singh Kang (72-73-73-76) had a difficult fourth round in which he shot a 76, and at an overall score of 296, won category B Boys, while finishing fifth in category A&B Boys.

Aditya Misra and Saatvic Kumar Singh: Runner Up and Second Runner Up, B Boys.
Delhi’s Aditya Misra (74-79-71-74) and Telangana’s Saatvic Kumar Singh (81-76-75-68) finished second and third in B Boys at overall scores of 298 and 300 respectively. Incidentally, Saatvic shot a 4-under 68 in the fourth round, his personal best of the tournament, and rose on the leaderboard to finish third.
Bengal boys Aranyak Chakraborty (75-77-84-76) and Arkaprovo Choudhury (77-82-79-77) finished sixth and eighth in category B Boys at overall scores of 312 and 315 respectively.
Meanwhile, the participants of C Boys, who played their opening round on April 21, played a total of 54 holes over three consecutive rounds. Playing the third and the final round on April 23, overnight leader in C Boys, Uttar Pradesh golfer Kabir Goyal (74-76-75) won his category at a total score of 225.

Runner Up, Winner and Second Runner Up, C Boys
Delhi’s Shan Alvi (75-76-77) finished second in C Boys at an overall score of 228, followed by Haryana’s Drona Singh Dhull (75-76-78), who finished third in C Boys at an overall score of 229.
