Joaquin Niemann and Edoardo Molinari co- lead after the first round of the Italian Open 2026, which is being held at the Circolo Golf Tirono, Fiano, Tirono, Italy, from June 25 to June 28.

Chilean professional golfer Joaquin Niemann, and Italian Edoardo Molinari shot a 7-under 64 in the first round and took a joint lead by shooting many birdies.

A group of golfers including France’s Tom Vaillant, Italy’s Guido Migliozzi, Spain’s Rocco Repetto Taylor and Nacho Elvira and New Zealand’s Kazuma Kobori shot a 6-under 65 and lay tied third.

Finland’s Oliver Lindell, Spain’s Pablo Larrazábal, Eugenio Chacarra, Angel Ayora, and Angel Hidalgo, Sweden’s Joakim Lagergren and France’s Jeong weon Ko lay tied eighth, shooting a 5-under 66.
