Ribhav Verma heads into the final round of the IGU Hyderabad Amateur Championship 2026, which is being held at the Boulder Hills Golf and Country Club from April 7 to April 10.
Overnight leader for two consecutive rounds, Haryana’s Ribhav Verma (66-69-72), who started off with an impressive 6-under 66, had difficult second and third rounds, in which, he shot a 3-under 69 and an even par of 72 respectively. At a three-day score of 9-under 207, Ribhav maintained his lead to head into the final round of the IGU Hyderabad Amateur Championship 2026.
Uttar Pradesh’s Parth Raman Sood (69-71-70) had a better third round in which he shot a 2-under 70 after a 3-under 69 and 1-under 71 in the first and second rounds respectively. At a three-day total of 6-under 210, Sood rose on the leaderboard to lay second.
Bengal golfer Anshul Mishra (68-71-72) shot an even par of 72 in the third round, following a 4-under 68 and 1-under 71 in the first two consecutive rounds. With a tough third round, Anshul lay third at a three-day total of 5-under 211.
Delhi’s Deepak Yadav (72-71-69) had a successful third round, in which he shot a 3-under 69, his personal best for this tournament, and at a three-day total of 4-under 212, lay fourth.
