Russell Henley (-12) emerged victorious at the Charles Schwab Challenge after a dramatic playoff at Colonial Country Club. Henley held his nerve through three playoff holes to edge out Eric Cole (-12), who had matched him in regulation but faltered under the added pressure.
Just one shot back at -11, Alex Smalley, Max Meissner, and Ben Griffin shared third place, each producing consistent play but unable to force their way into the playoff.
At -10, Nicolás Echavarría, J.J. Spaun, Gary Woodland, and Michael Brennan rounded out the top six, all delivering strong performances but finishing just outside contention.
