Vihaan Jain takes halfway lead at the IGU Southern India Junior Boys Golf Championship 2026, which is being held at the Coimbatore Golf Club, from May 19 to May 22.

Haryana’s Vihaan Jain (75-72) improved his second round performance by shooting an even par score of 72 after his first round’s 75, and at a two-day score of 147, took halfway lead in the A&B Boys Combined category.

Haryana’s Prince Bainsla (76-74) rose the leaderboard by shooting a 2-over 74 in the second round, following a 76 in the opening round and at a two-day score of 150, lay second in A&B Boys Combined category.

Tamil Nadu’s Nilofer Sivamoorthy (77-74) rose the leaderboard to lay third in A&B Boys Combined category at a two-day score of 151 after an improved second round performance with a 2-over 74, following a 77 in the opening round.

Overnight leader Delhi’s Chaitanya Pandey (79-75) improved his performance with a 75 in the second round after first round’s 79, and at a two-day score of 154, maintains lead in category B Boys.

Telangana’s Saatvic Kumar Singh (81-78) lay second in B Boys at a two-day score of 158, followed by Haryana’s Jaibir Singh Kang (83-77), who lay third in B Boys at a two-day score of 160.

While participants of A&B Boys and B Boys will play a total of 72 holes over four consecutive rounds, starting May 19 to May 22, the participants of C Boys will play a total of 54 holes over three consecutive rounds, starting May 19 to May 21.

Overnight leader, Haryana’s Drona Singh Dhull (83-77) maintains lead in Category C Boys at a two-day score of 160, followed by New Delhi’s Shan Alvi (82-86), who lay second in C Boys at a two-day score of 168.

Maharashtra’s Vivaan Shailesh Kudale (89-80) and Karnataka’s Vivaan Singh (87-82) lay tied third in category C Boys at a two-day score of 169.

While the participants of A&B Boys and B Boys will play their third round tomorrow, on May 21, the participants of C Boys are scheduled to play their third and final round tomorrow.
