Aranyak Chakraborty clinched victory in the Kolkata Junior Masters 2026 – Leg 5 of the IGU East Zone Feeder Tour, which was being held at the prestigious Tollygunge Club, Kolkata, from June 10 to June 11.

Over 63 junior golfers took part in the tournament, categorized in 10 age categories.

  2. B Boys (13-14 years)
  3. A&B Girls (15-17 years)
  4. B Girls (13-14 years)
  5. C Boys (11-12 years)
  6. C Girls (11-12 years)
  7. D Boys (9-10 years)
  8. D Girls (9-10 years)
  9. E Boys (7-8 years)
  10. E Girls (7-8 years)
  11. F Boys & Girls (Below 7 years)

While the participants of the A&B Boys and Girls, B Boys and Girls, C Boys and Girls, and D Boys and Girls played 36 holes, the participants of the E Boys and Girls, and F Boys and Girls played a total of 18 holes over two consecutive rounds.

Overnight leader in A&B Boys and B Boys, Aranyak Chakraborty (70-71) shot a 1-over 71 in the second round, after an even par score of 70 in the first round, and at a total score of 1-over 141, won the A&B Boys and B Boys categories.

Nikunj Agarwal (78-73) played a better second round in which he shot a 73 after a 78 in the first round, and at an overall score of 151, finished second in A&B Boys.

Andrew Baid (82-74) also played a better second round in which he shot a 74, and at an overall score of 156, finished third in A&B Boys Combined category.

Following Aranyak Chakraborty’s podium finish in category B Boys, Krishiv Rungta (82-77) finished second in category B Boys at an overall score of 159, followed by Shriniwas Shah (83-80), who finished third in category B Boys at an overall score of 163.

Overnight leader in A&B Girls, Samaira Chitlangia (76-76) maintained consistent scores, shooting a 76 in the first and the second rounds, and at an overall score of 152, won the A&B Girls Combined category.

Saesha Kulkarni and Uravi Mall finished second and third in A&B Girls Combined category.

Saesha also won category B Girls.

Overnight leader in C Boys, Ayaan Mimani (82-81) played a better second round and at an overall score of 162, won category C Boys, followed by Aarav Singh and Dhruv D. Patodia, who finished second and third respectively in category C Boys.

While overnight leader in C Girls, Vaanyaa Rustagi won category C Girls, followed by Medhavi Ashwini Kaul, who finished second in category C Girls.

Aativeer Jain won the category D GIrls, followed by Ankit Mondal and Ayaansh Prasad, who finished second and third respectively in category D Boys.

Duaa Singh won category D Girls.

Playing a toyal of 18 holes over two consecutive rounds, overnight leader in E Boys, Aveer Malik (40-43) won category E Boys at an overall score of 83, followed by Reshab Roy (47-45) and Atharv Jeloka, who finished second and third respectively in category E Boys.

Overnight leader in E Girls, Ruhi Nayar (58-48) won the category E Girls, followed by Aryahi Singh Bais who finished second.

Overnight leader in F Boys & Girls, Pranav Singhi won his category.
