The 16th Tolly Monsoon Cup 2025 started on July 18 at the prestigious Tollygunge Club, Kolkata. Over 133 enthusiastic junior and senior golfers, esteemed members of the Tollygunge Club, played on the first round, and teed off with great enthusiasm.
The round had to be stopped due to inclement rainy weather, but the enthusiasm of the golfers couldn’t be waived. Tee offs began again as soon as the rain stopped.
After the first round of the Monsoon Cup, Col. Shreekant Tiwari and Captain Biswadeep Dey lead the NETT category with 48 points.
The duo of Milan Kundu and S.K Paul, and P. V Radha Krishnan and S. K Menon lay tied second at 46 points in the NETT category.
The duo of Devesh Daga and Yash Agarwalla, and Dipak Barma and Pradip Bhowmik lay tied fourth in the NETT category with 45 points.
Over 140 junior and senior golfers wait enthusiastically to tee off on the second round of the 16th Tolly Monsoon Cup 2025 on July 19, Saturday.
