Sanju makes his move after the third round of the IGU Andhra Pradesh Amateur Golf Championship 2025, which is being held at the East Point Golf Club, Vishakhapatnam, from September 23 to September 26.

Chandigarh golfer Sanju (70-64-68), who lay second after the second round, that concluded on September 24, shot a 3-under 68 in the third round, and at a three-day score of 11-under 202, made his move on the moving day to rise on the leaderboard.

Delhi’s Deepak Yadav (67-68-68) shot a 3-under 68, maintaining his consistent performance, and chases Sanju at a three-day score of 10-under 203, to lay second after the third round concluded.

Overnight leader, Uttar Pradesh golfer Sukhman Singh (68-65-72) had a difficult third round, in which he scored a 1-over 72, and at a three-day score of 8-under 205, trails behind, as he lay third.

West Bengal golfer Anshul MIshra shot an even par score of 71 in the third round, after two consecutive 1-under 70 in the first and the second rounds respectively. At a three-day score of 2-under 211, Anshul lay tied ninth with a group of golfers including Delhi’s Pritish Singh Karayat (75-69-67) and Chaitanya Pandey (70-73-68), and Chandigarh’s Vivek Kumar (71-66-74).
