Sanju clinches victory in the IGU Andhra Pradesh Amateur Golf Championship 2025, which was being held at the East Point Golf Club, Vishakhapatnam, from September 23 to September 26.

Although overnight leader Chandigarh golfer Sanju (70-64-68-71) had a difficult fourth round, in which he shot an even par score of 71, he managed to win the title at an impressive overall score of 11-under 273.

Sukhman Singh and Deepak Yadav: Joint Runner Up. 

Uttar Pradesh golfer Sukhman Singh (68-65-72-69) and Delhi’s Deepak Yadav (67-68-68-71) chased Sanju and at an overall score of 10-under 274, jointly finished second.

Haryana’s Harman Sachdeva (69-71-68-68) played better third and fourth rounds, scoring a 3 -under 68 in both the rounds, and at an overall score of 8-under 276, finished fourth.

West Bengal golfer Anshul Mishra (70-70-71-68) had his game levelled up in the fourth round, in which he scored his personal best of the tournament, a 3-under 68, and at an overall score of 5-under 279, finished tied eighth with a group of golfers that include Delhi’s Pritish Singh Karayat (75-69-67-68) and Ranveer Mitroo (66-73-71-69), and Karnataka’s Sumit Kotwal (70-68-70-71).

Meanwhile, Bengal golfer Samridh Sen (73-74-75-67) played 4-under 67 in the fourth round, his personal best over the four rounds of the tournament, and at an overall score of 289, finished tied twenty seventh with Delhi’s Yash Chaudhury (72-74-71-72), Haryana’s Naveen Rathi (73-74-69-73), and Delhi’s Akash Kumar (69-67-80-73).
