The 1100th Chipping Skills Competition, as a part of the November Skills Competition, took place on Sunday, November 23, and was organized by the Protouch Golf Academy.
Junior golfers, categorised into three skill levels—Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced—competed in the Chipping competition.

Kiaan Chakraborty and Harmehr Gaba: Winner and Runner Up, Beginners’ Category.
Maintaining his winning streak, Kiaan Chakraborty won the Beginners’ category with 9 points, followed by novice Harmehr Gaba, who gave tough competition to Kiaan and finished second in the Beginners’ category with a total number of 7 points.
The Sunday afternoon just got more exciting as well as challenging, as the participants of the Intermediate category volunteered to participate in the Advanced category, and get a taste of the competition among the Advanced players.

Ujaan Chakraborty: Winner, Advanced Category.
Playing two rounds, Ujaan Chakraborty, who usually participates in the Intermediate category, own the Advanced category, playing two rounds. Incidentally, Ujaan was the highest scorer of the day, and managed to score 14 points.

Aativeer Jain: Runner Up, Advanced Category.
Ujaan was followed by Aativeer Jain, also from the Intermediate category, who finished second in the advanced category with 10 points.

Ainesh Roy Choudhury: Second Runner Up, Advanced Category.
Ainesh Roy Chowdhury (Intermediate category) and Jayansh Lakhotia (Intermediate category) tied for the third place, but after an exciting play-off, Ainesh finished third in the Advanced category.
Jayansh Lakhotia said, “We were just joking around when we said that we want to participate in the Advanced category, but to really do so, and score well at the end of the competition, means a lot to me. Honestly, I am a bit sad, because I didn’t win, but I guess it’s fine because I got to learn from my seniors”.
Harmehr Gaba, runner up in the Beginners’ category, said, “This is my third or fourth time participating in the Skills Competition, and I am starting to like it. I have friends here, with whom I compete and I try to score better than them. I am happy to have won the second prize today. Aiming to beat Kiaan, and win the first prize in the next Skills Competition”.
All the children returned home with smiling faces, flaunting their medals, waiting for the 1101st Chipping Skills Competition, which will be organised on Sunday in the next month, December 7.
