Arkoprovo Choudhury leads after the first round of the Bengal Amateur Open 2026 – Leg 3 of the IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour, which is being held at the Suryodaya Environmental Park and Training Area (SEPTA), Kolkata, from May 2 to May 3.

Arkoprovo played 76 on the first round to lead the Amateur category.

Saquib Hussain shot a 79 and currently lay second in the Amateur category followed by Andrew Baid, who shot an 81, and lay third in the Amateur category.

Amit Kr. Saraogi shot a 91, and leads the Mid Amateur category.

Col. Shreekant Tiwari shot an 87 to lead the Senior category, followed by B.V Srihari Rao and Dr. Ashish Kumar, who shot a 90, and lay tied second in the Senior category.

B.V Srihari Rao and Dr. Ashish Kumar also jointly lead the Super Senior category.

Shooting a 78, Samaira Chitlangia leads the Ladies category.

The golfers will compete in three official rounds that count towards the World Junior Golf Raking (WAGR).
