Saquib Hussain wins the WAGR Round of the Bengal Amateur Open 2026 – Leg 3 of the IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour, which was being held at the Suryodaya Environmental Park and Training Area (SEPTA), Kolkata, from May 2 to May 5.

The Bengal Amateur Open 2026 was a World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) event, and the WAGR round was held on May 5, following the two match rounds on May 2 and May 3, after the practice round took place on May 1.

In the Amateur category, Saquib Hussain (79-76-73) played difficult rounds on the first and second day where he shot a 79 and 76 respctively. On the third round, he shot a 1-over 73, and at an overall score of 228, won the WAGR round.

Arkaprovo Choudhury (76-78-77) finished second at an overall score of 231, chasing Saquib.

Jashan Bhaarat Shah (87-82-87) finished third at an overall score of 256 in the Amateur category.

Samaira Chitlangia (78-79-78) won the Ladies category at an overall score of 235.
