Aida Thimmaiah maintains lead after the second round of the IGU Maharashtra Ladies and Junior girls Golf Championship 2026, which is being held at the Wellingdon Club, Mumbai, from May 19 to May 21.

Overnight leader, Karnataka’s Aida Thimmaiah (64-66) had a difficult second round in which she shot a 1-over 66 after a 1-under 64 in the first round, and at a two-day even par score of 130 maintained lead in the Ladies & A&B Girls Combined category, as well as A&B Girls Combined category and category B Girls.

Delhi’s Yogya Bhalla (65-66), who shot an even oar score of 65, also had a difficult second round, in which she shot a 1-over 66, and at a two-day score of 1-over 131, lay second in the Ladies & A&B Girls Combined category, as well as A&B Girls Combined category and category B Girls.

Gujarat’s Janneya A. Dasanniee (69-65), who shot a 69 in the first round, improved her game to shoot an even par score of 65 in the second round, and at a two-day score of 134, lay third in the Ladies & A&B Girls Combined category.

At a two-day score of 135, Delhi’s Ayesha Gupta (66-69) lay third in A&B Girls Combined category, after shooting a 1-over 66 and a 69 in the first and second rounds respectively.

Ayesha also lay fourth in the Ladies & A&B Girls Combined category, followed by Haryana’s Ceerat Kang (69-67), ho lay fifth with a two-day score of 136, in the Ladies & A&B Girls Combined category.

Haryana’s Smira Bhambri (73-64) improved her second round performance, shooting a 1-over 64 in the second round, after a 73 in the first round, and at a two-day score of 137, lay tied fourth and sixth in A&B Girls Combined category and Ladies & A&B Girls Combined category respectively, with Chandigarh’s Guntas Kaur Sandhu (71-66), Punjab’s Rabab Kahlon (68-69), and Haryana’s Mehak Lohan (67-70).

Meanwhile, Rabab Kahlon lay second in category B Girls, followed by Delhi’s Rehnoor Malik (71-68), who lay third in category B Girls at a two-day score of 139.

Uttar Pradesh Vidushi Singh (76-70) improved her game to shoot a 70 in the second round after a 76 in the first round, and at a two-day score of 146, took lead in category C Girls after the second round.

Overnight leader in C Girls, Karnataka’s Aashna Amogha (71-78) lay second at a two-day score of 149, followed by Haryana’s Nandini Rathee (72-78), who lay third in category C Girls at a two-day score of 150.
