Miyu Yamashita wins the Meijer LPGA Classic 2026, which was being held at the Blythefield Country Club, from June 18 to June 21.
Japan’s Miyu Yamashita (72-68-67-64) had a difficult start with an even par score of 72, but quickly improved her performance with a 4-under 68 and 5-under 67 in the second and third rounds respectively. She shot an impressive 8-under 64, her personal best in the tournament, and at a fabulous overall score of 17-under 271, Yamashita tied for the leading spot jointly with England’s Lottie Woad (69-66-68-68), who maintained a consistent performance with an overall score of 17-under 271, over the four rounds, starting off with a 3-under 69, and then shooting a 6-under 66 in the second round and a 4-under 68 in the third and fourth rounds respectively.
An exciting play-off followed, after which Yamashita clinched victory at the Meijer LPGA Classic 2026.
Woad finished second with a 17-under 271, followed by China’s Yan Liu (66-70-70-67) and Wei-Ling Hsu (69-69-68-67), who finished tied third jointly at an overall score of 15-under 273.
Korean Minji Kang (68-68-72-66) and Australia’s Cassie Porter (67-68-69-70) finished tied fifth jointly at an overall score of 14-under 274.
