Elvira carded a solid -4 on Saturday to move into a share of the lead, while Celli maintained his place at the top with a composed -3. With both players chasing one of the biggest titles on the DP World Tour, Sunday promises an exciting showdown.

Just one shot behind at -12, Americans J.J. Spaun (-12) and Johannes Veerman (-12) have put themselves firmly in contention. Veerman produced one of the rounds of the day, firing a brilliant -8, while Spain’s Alejandro del Rey (-12) matched that score to surge into the title race.

A five-way tie for sixth sits at -11, featuring Norway’s Kristoffer Reitan (-11), Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy (-11), American Davis Bryant (-11), Australia’s Adam Scott (-11) and Chile’s Joaquín Niemann (-11). McIlroy remains within striking distance and will have home support behind him as he looks for a final-round charge.

Further back at -10, England’s Sam Bairstow (-10), New Zealand’s Ryan Fox (-10), Sweden’s Ludvig Åberg (-10), Scotland’s Robert MacIntyre (-10) and England’s Matt Wallace (-10) remain in the hunt.
