Uttar Pradesh’s Sukhman Singh made his move on the third round by submitting a card of 1-under 71 to gain one spot and emerge as the co-leader with a total of 1-under 215, at the IGU Tamil Nadu Amateur, being played at the Coimbatore Golf Club from November 19 to November 22.
Chandigarh’s Shaurya Sharma, the overnight leader by 3-under 141, posted a 1-under 71 in the penultimate round, to share the lead along with Sukhman Singh.
Delhi’s Rakshit Dahiya scored a 73 in the third round and was placed at the third leading position at a total of 216. Trailing behind with a two-shot difference, Karnataka’s Jaiveer tied at the third position with Dahiya at 216.
West Bengal’s Aryav Shah (72-72-73) was placed best at sixth on the third round, at a total of 216.
With the final round of IGU Tamil Nadu Amateur Championship scheduled for tomorrow, anticipation builds as the golfers prepare to battle for the championship.
