Indian golfer Anirban Lahiri finished tied fifth in the Qatar Open 2024 with three other golfers, which was being held at the Doha Golf Club, Qatar, from November 27 to November 30.

Opening with a 3-under 69 on the first round, Lahiri trailed along in the second round at a 1-over 73. However, he got back to form and scored a 4-under 68, and a 2-under 70 in the third and the fourth rounds respectively.
At a total of 8-under 280, Lahiri finished tied fifth along with South African golfer Dean Burmester (69-69-73-69), Spanish golfer Eugenio Chacarra (67-71-71-71) and Suteepat Prateeptienchai (68-70-70-72). Lahiri was best placed among the Indian golfers playing the tournament.
Gaganjeet Bhullar (70-68-69-77) finished tied 19th at an overall score of 4-under 284 along with five other golfers that included Mexican golfer Luis Carrera (70-71-74-69), American golfer John Catlin (70-73-70-71), South African golfer Yurav Premlall (69-68-73-74), Spanish golfer David Puig (66-70-73-75) and Italian golfer Stefano Mazzoli (68-70-69-77).
Veer Ahlawat (72-71-71-73) finished tied 37th at a total score of 1-under 287. Other Indian golfers who played well are S.S.P Chawrasia and Shiv Kapur.
American golfer Peter Uihlein (68-64-71-69) won the Qatar Open 2024 at a total score of 16-under 272. Uihlein was chased by South African golfer Charl Schwartzel (71-65-73-68), who finished second at a total score of 11-under 277. Filipino golfer Miguel Tabuena (68-68-73-70) and South African golfer Louis Oosthuizen (66-71-71-71) tied third at an overall score of 9-under 279.
