Veer Ganapathy wins the IGU Tamil Nadu Amateur Golf Championship 2025, that was being held at the Coimbatore Golf Club, from March 4 to March 7.
Karnataka golfer Veer Ganapathy (70-70-73-71), who was also the winner of the IGU Telangana Amateur Golf Championship 2025, maintained a consistency in his performance from the first round itself. On the fourth day, he hit a 1-under 71, and won the IGU Tamil Nadu Amateur Golf Championship 2025, at a total score of 4-under 284.
Sukhman Singh: Runner Up
Overnight leader, Uttar Pradesh golfer Sukhman Singh (71-73-68-73) hit a 1-over 73 in the fourth round, and at a total score of 3-under 285, finished second.
Kanav Chauhan: Second Runner Up
Uttar Pradesh golfer Kanav Chauhan (74-69-72-71) scored a 1-under 71 in the fourth round, and at a total score of 2-under 286, finished third.
West Bengal golfer Aryav Shah (72-69-74-73) finished tied fifth with a team of golfers including Uttar Pradesh golfer Vinamra Anand (76-74-70-68), Karnataka golfer Siddharth Paruthi (71-76-72-69), and Maharashtra golfer Arkin Patil (72-72-74-70).
Another West Bengal golfer Sandeep Yadav (73-72-72-76) finished tied fifteenth with a team of golfers including Telangana’s Puthuru Raj Kumar (71-78-72-72), Delhi’s Yash Chaudhury (72-73-76-72), and Uttar Pradesh’s Arin Ahuja (74-75-69-75).
