Neil Jolly leads after the second round of the IGU Andhra Pradesh State Junior Boys Golf Championship 2025, which is being held at the East point Golf Club, from May 20 to May 23.
Overnight leader Chandigarh’s Neil Jolly shot a 3-under 69 in the second round, after shooting a 4-under 68 in the first round. with a second-day total of 7-under 147, Neil Jolly leads in Combined Category A&B Boys.
After a 1-under 71 in the first round, Chandigarh’s Krish Chawla shot a 5-under 67 in the second round, and rose in the leaderboard, laying second in Combined Category A&B Boys at a second-round total score of 6-under 138.
Haryana’s Vihaan Jain (69-70) followed Krish, and lay third in Combined Category A&B Boys, at a second day total of 5-under 139.
West Bengal golfer Advay Bagla (75-74) lay tied eighteenth in Category A&B Boys at a second-round total score of 149, with a team of golfers including Haryana’s Arjun Dahiya (80-69), Karnataka’s Adithya J. Kamath (79-70), and Ayan Ahmed (76-73), Uttar Pradesh’s Ayan Dubey (74-75), Telangana’s Vedansh Rao Thandra (74-75), and Haryana’s Prince Bainsla (73-76).
Delhi’s Chaitanya Pandey (74-73) leads B Boys at a second-round total of 147, followed by Haryana’s Shaurya Dagar (76-72) and Ayan Pal (70-78), who lay tied second in Category B Boys at a second-round total of 148.
West Bengal’s Advay Bagla and Varish Mohta (74-76) lay fourth and fifth in B Boys at second round totals of 149 and 150 respectively.
Meanwhile, the participants of C Boys, who will play a total of 54 holes over their three rounds, played their first round today, on May 21. Maharashtra’s Vihaan Gajula and Chandigarh’s Zorawar Sandhu shot a 79 in the first round to lead C Boys jointly, followed by Haryana’s Sidhant Sharma and Telangana’s Pinnapureddy, who shot an 80 and 81, and lay second and third in C Boys respectively after their first round concluded.
