Neil Jolly and Krish Chawla took lead after the first round of the IGU Andhra Pradesh State Junior Boys Golf Championship 2025, which is being held at the East Point Golf Club, Vizag, from May 20 to May 23.

Chandigarh golfers Neil Jolly and Krish Chawla shot 4-under 68 in the first round to take a joint lead in Category A&B Boys Combined.

Haryana’s Vihaan Jain and Chandigarh’s Harjai Milkha Singh both shot a 3-under 69 in the first round, and lay tied third in Category A&B Boys Combined, followed by Karnataka’s Vivaan Ubhyankar, who shot a 2-under 70, and lay fifth after the first round conclude on May 20.

West Bengal golfer Advay Bagla lay tied twenty first in the Combined A&B Boys Category, shooting a 76 in the first round, with a group of golfers including Uttar Pradesh’s Ayaan Dubey, Telangana’s Vedansh Rao Thandra, and Haryana’s Prince Bainsla.

Meanwhile, Delhi golfer Chaitanya Pandey shot a 2-under 70 in the first round, and took lead in B Boys, followed by Haryana’s Shaurya Dagar and Aryan Pal, who shot a 73 and 74, and lay second and third respectively in B Boys.

Advay Bagla lay fourth in B Boys.

While the participants of A&B Boys and B Boys will play 72 holes over four rounds. The participants of C Boys, who will be starting their first round tomorrow, on May 21, will play 54 holes over three consecutive rounds.
