Arghya Shah wins the seventh leg of the IGU East Zone Feeder Tour – Kolkata Junior Masters 2025, which was being held at the prestigious Tollygunge Club, Kolkata, from August 6 to August 7.
Argha Shah had a difficult first round. Arghya shot a 75 after a first round’s 78, and won the A&B Boys category at an overall score of 153.
Overnight co-leader, Aaditya Mangalam Trivedi shot a 78 in the second round, after a 76 in the first round, and at an overall score of 154, won Category B Boys, and finished second in A&B Boys category.
Arkaprovo Choudhury (79-77) finished second in Category B Boys and, finished third in A&B Boys at an overall score of 156.
Overnight co-leader Aryaveer Agrawal (76-83), had a difficult second round, and at a total score of 159, finished third in B Boys and fifth in A&B Boys category.
Overnight leader in C Boys, Ayaan Mimani (82-91) won C Boys at an overall score of 173, followed by Shaurya Veer Saboo (93-95), and Ayushman Sana (102-100), who finished second and third in C Boys, at total scores of 188 and 202 respectively.
Overnight leader in C Girls, Julinka Roy Chowdhury (86-77) had a better second round, and at a total score of 163, won C Girls. Nahida Parvin (82-85) and Vaanyaa Rustagi (100-97) followed, finishing second and third in C Girls, at total scores of 167 and 197 respectively.
Overnight leader in D Boys, Ujaan Chakraborty (107-101), played a better second round, and won his category at a total score of 208. Vivaan Surana (122-104) and Aativeer Jain (113-113) jointly tied for a total score of 226. Ultimately, Vivaan Surana was declared the winner, based on his better performance on the second round.
While overnight leader in D Girls, Aarya Jhunjhunwala (97-92) topped her category at an overall score of 189, Aarohi Trivedi finished second in D Girls at an overall score of 232.
The participants of the E Boys & Girls played a total of 18 holes over two consecutive rounds. Overnight leader in E Boys, Kiaan Chakraborty won E Boys category at an overall score of 104.
Overnight leader in E Girls, Advika Agarwal topped her category at an overall score of 91.
