Bengal’s Anshul Mishra maintains lead over three consecutive rounds after the third round of the IGU Andhra Pradesh Amateur Golf Championship 2026, which is being held at the East Point Golf Club (EPGC), Vishakhapatnam, from May 5 to May 8.
Starting off with a 2-under 70 in the opening round, West Bengal Anshul Mishra (70-71-70) maintained consistent performance over three consecutive rounds, shooting a 1-under 71 and again a 2-under 70 in the second and third rounds respectively. At a three-day total of 5-under 211, Anshul maintained lead on the moving round.
Uttar Pradesh golfer Vinamra Anand (74-71-72) started off with a 2-over 74, but improved his performance in the second round with a 1-under 71, and shot an even par score of 72. At a three-day score of 1-over 217, Vinamra lay second.
Delhi’s Deepak Yadav (70-73-76), who co-led with Anshul after the first round, and lay second halfway after the second round, had a tough third round in which he shot a 76. At a three-day score of 219. Deepak lay third after the third round.
